The Miracle Barrette is dedicated to Nicole’s grandmother, Burlesque legend “Miss April March, the First Lady of Burlesque”. She is the world’s last 1950’s legend.
At the age of eighty six after surviving Covid effects for three months, she had a procedure to drain fluid from her lungs which is very common for those who had “Long Covid”, a lung of hers then collapsed and she immediately needed medical support after having severe chest pains and could not breathe. An immediate surgery was needed. Her family wasn’t sure she would overcome an intense surgery at her age. The miracle is that she made it.!
